The world’s largest, most complex, and most powerful space telescope is on track.

The James Webb Space Telescope took off from the European Spaceport in French Guiana on Christmas Day aboard an Ariane 5 rocket and arrived safely at its space destination on January 24, known as the Sun-Earth Lagrangian point 2, or L2.
