Lara Dutta has worked with everyone from Salman Khan to Akshay Kumar in her film career. The actor recently talked about habits they haven’t changed in years.
Lara just saw the release of her web show Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, in which she plays the princess. In a promotional interview, Laura was asked to share her co-stars’ habits that haven’t changed over the years.
Regarding Salman, who starred with her in the 2005 film No Entry, Laura told Bollywood Hungama in an interview, “He still calls after midnight, Salman tabhi udhta hai, uske calls tabhi aate hain (Salman wakes up at midnight and his call comes after midnight).”
Referring to Akshay Kumar, Lara said with a sad expression: “He still wakes up before everyone else wakes up.” Lara made her Bollywood debut with Akshay in the 2003 film Andaz, and will make her debut in 2021 She starred with him in her last screen appearance in the 2010 film “Bell Bottom”. Speaking of Sanjay Dutt, Lara said: “He’s still very shy and reserved every time he sees you.” The two worked together on the 2006 film “Cinda.”
Laura’s last big-screen release was 2021’s BellBottom, in which she played the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kaun Banegi Shikharwati on ZEE5 is her third OTT release following recent Hiccups and Hookups and her debut Hundred.
In Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, Lara joins Soha Ali Khan, Kritika Kamra and Anya Singh as one of the four daughters of an eccentric king (Naseeruddin Shah).
