A recently sold diamond has set the record for the world’s largest auction ever. The 15.81-carat Purple-Pink Diamond is sold in Hong Kong for US $ 29.3 million (Rs 213 crore). The name of this purple-pink diamond on the platinum ring is ‘The Sakura’. It is auctioned by auction house Christie’s.
Christie’s has told that this diamond was bought by an Asian person on Sunday and it is a private buyer. However, more details have not been disclosed yet.
