America has completely withdrawn its troops from Afghanistan a day before the scheduled time.
After 20 years, the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan is complete. The US Defense Department Pentagon has given this information by tweeting a photo of the last American soldier to leave Afghanistan.
According to the report, the last American plane took off at around one o’clock late on August 30.
The Pentagon wrote in a tweet, “The last US soldier to leave Afghanistan is Major General Chris Donahue, who boarded a C-17 aircraft on the night of August 30. This marks the end of the US mission in Kabul.”
With this, the commander of US Central Command, General Kenneth McKenzie, has announced the completion of the withdrawal of US forces.
Today US President Joe Biden can also address a press conference.
