Alleged gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has moved the Delhi High Court seeking security if his custody was handed over to Punjab Police. He is being held in connection with singer Sidhu Moosewala murder case. The matter is listed for hearing today(Wednessday).
Moosewala was shot dead on Sunday by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district. Punjab Police said the killing of the popular singer seemed to be the result of an inter-gang rivalry and that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was involved in it.
He is facing a trial under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in the national capital.
