LML partners former Harley Davidson manufacturing facility for electric vehicles

LML Electric said on Thursday that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Saera Electric Auto, a former manufacturing partner of Harley-Davidson in India, to produce its electric two-wheelers.

Under the partnership, Saera’s factory in Bawal, Haryana, will produce a range of upcoming LML electric vehicles, the company said in a statement.

It added that the manufacturing facility covers 2,17,800 square feet with a monthly capacity of 18,000 pieces.

Commenting on the partnership, LML Electric CEO Yogesh Bhatia said Saera was the company’s first choice due to its unparalleled expertise and reputation among some of the world’s top automotive brands.

He further said, “We believe this partnership will be a stepping stone to our vision to redefine and reimagine the future of EV manufacturing in India, aligning the country with global manufacturing standards.”
