Lockdown In Four Districts Of Tamil Nadu Including Chennai From 19 To 30 June

Corona cases are becoming uncontrollable in many cities of Tamil Nadu including Chennai. Keeping this in mind, the state government has decided to implement lockdown in four districts from June 19 to June 30. These four districts are Chennai, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu and Thiruvallur. All these districts are under the metropolitan Chennai Police area.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister EK Palanisamy has named this lockdown between June 19 and June 30 as ‘Maximum Restricted Lockdown’. This indicates that the strictness will be increased in the four districts where the lockdown has been implemented. Let us tell you that only in the city of Chennai, more than 30 thousand coronas have been found infected.
