On Friday, the Sensex and the Nifty hit a lower circuit for the first time in 12 years as Coronavirus infection spread rapidly and trading on both platforms was halted for 45 minutes. Significantly, the Sensex opened below 30,000 and opened 3090 points, while the Nifty opened below 9700 also lost 966.10 points.
