Larsen & Toubro said on Monday it had completed 75 years of its construction and mining machinery business (CMB). The company said in a statement that during these 75 years the CMB business supplied more than 60,000 units of various equipment in the country.
These machines contributed significantly to the country’s infrastructure development.
SN Subrahmanyan, CEO and Managing Director of Larsen & Toubro, said the company has a pioneering legacy of critical equipment needed for nation building and is at the forefront of developing engineering design and manufacturing capabilities in the country.
He said that the company is very happy that its construction and mining machinery business has met the critical needs of the mining and construction sector for the last 75 years through modern equipment and better service.
