The trailer for Sanjay Dutt’s next film, Prithviraj, was recently released. The actor is currently riding high after the worldwide success of KGF Chapter 2, which grossed over 1000 crores. The actor has finally revealed why he, his wife Maanayata Dutt, and their children Shahraan and Iqra have relocated to Dubai.
In the year 2008, Sanjay married Maanayata. Shahraan and Iqra, their 11-year-old twins, are their children.
“They could have absolutely been here, but I see that they love it there,” Sanjay told Times of India about why his family chose to settle down in Dubai in 2020. They enjoy their school and extracurricular activities. “Sending them there wasn’t a planned move,” he added, “but my wife’s business has settled there.” It just happened naturally. Maanayata was running her own business in Dubai when the opportunity arose, and she took her children with her.”
“I came around that when I saw them happy there,” Sanjay said when asked if he misses them during his time in Mumbai. My daughter is learning to play the piano and is interested in gymnastics. She is also a good sprinter. My son is a member of a professional junior football team. For me, their happiness is more important than anything else.”
When KGF Chapter 2 was released, Maanayata wrote a note about how the film was a journey for Sanjay because he was battling cancer at the time. “The film has been a special journey for us in more ways than one,” she explained. Those who have characterised him as irresponsible, uncommitted, and a bad boy should watch this film to see his determination, dedication, and commitment. Sanju shot this movie during his most vulnerable period… ours. He shot all those arduous scenes without complaint, with the same zeal as before. He is, in my opinion, the film’s HERO. Cool, powerful, spirited, and a never-say-die fighter! KGF2 is Adheera’s property!”
