The 52nd Indian International Film Festival (IFFI) reached a gleaming climax with a series of film screenings and a fascinating closing ceremony at the Shyamaprasad Mukherjee Auditorium in Goa on November 28. Veteran actor Randy Kapoor was commended for her outstanding contributions to Indian cinema, and actor Maduri Dixit-Nene was commended for her outstanding performance in Bollywood films.
Actor Manoj Bajpayee was also praised for his outstanding work on stage, film and OTT platforms. Madhuri praised the numerous female works exhibited at IFFI in recent years, both in front of and behind the camera. Other notable honors are the Japanese film “Roaming in the Forest Valley” which won the Golden Peacock Award at the film festival.
