Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi trailer was released on Friday, leaving her industry peers in awe of her friends, family and fans. Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt and actors Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif also shared their reactions to the trailer.
Alia plays a brothel owner, matriarch and politician in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Her fans praised her badass character in the movie trailer.
Mahesh Bhatt calls Alia his masterpiece, and she says she stands out in the trailer. He told ETimes, “Alia stands out as Gangubai because she doesn’t cast herself as a model.”
In his message to her, he said: “Keep who you are. Don’t try to change yourself, even for a moment. Only then will you begin to share your ‘fragrance’.
