According to reports, a fire broke out in a warehouse in the Ghatkopar area of Mumbai on Monday morning, but no casualties were reported, civilian officials said.
PTI News Agency quoted officials as reporting that the fire broke out in the D’Silva Compound store in the Sunder Baug area of Assalfa at around 10:30 am.
A citizen official said that at least four fire trucks and water tankers had been rushed to the scene, adding that the fire fighting was still ongoing.
“There are no reports of any injuries,” the official said. Police and ward staff arrived at the scene after receiving the alert, and an ambulance rushed there, he said.
He said that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
