Martyr Colonel Santosh Babu Will Be Cremated Today, Father Said – Proud Of Son’s Martyrdom

The body of martyr Colonel Santosh Babu will reach Hyderabad today in a violent clash with China on the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Cremated rituals will be done at 4 pm. Martyr Colonel’s wife and children have reached Hyderabad from Delhi. The rest of the family is in Hyderabad.

Martyred Colonel Santosh Babu’s father B Upendra said that he was only 37 years old and had a golden future in front of him. I am very sad as a father, but being an Indian citizen and part of a military family, I am proud of my son. Martyr Colonel Babu was always on the field job from countersigns to other postings.

At the same time, the mother of the martyr Colonel Manjula told that my daughter-in-law lives in Delhi. He called me around 2 pm and told that Santosh Babu was no more. He got the information only on Monday night. I am proud of the martyrdom of Santosh Babu, because he sacrificed for the country, although I am also sad because he was my only son.

Significantly, there was a violent clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers on Monday night in Galvan valley of Ladakh. In this skirmish, 20 soldiers of the Indian Army were killed. For the first time since the 70s, Indian soldiers have been martyred in the Galvan Valley. Among the martyrs are Colonel B Santosh Babu, a brave officer of 16 Bihar Regiment.

According to the news agency ANI, 43 Chinese soldiers have died in this violent clash. Many of them have died and many have been injured. However, this has not been confirmed by China. There is still a tense atmosphere at LAC. Negotiations with China have been fruitless.
