Maruti Suzuki’s New Baleno Will Feature A 360-Degree Camera

Maruti Suzuki’s all-new 2022 Baleno update is becoming a tech-heavy affair. The automaker has already announced a heads-up display, a new 9-inch infotainment screen and new SmartPlay Pro+ system, which also features a new sound system with ARKAMAYS tuning, but now there’s more. The automaker has announced that its latest premium hatchback will also offer a segment-first 360-degree camera system.

In the teaser video, Maruti Suzuki shows off a 360-degree camera system, which also features guide lines, displayed on the new 9-inch infotainment screen. This is sure to be a segment-first feature. What hasn’t been revealed is whether these are dynamic grid lines or static lines.

One should also expect connected car technology from the new Baleno, as this is already available as an option on the Nexa experience car. One should probably expect an upgraded experience from Maruti Suzuki, which may be combined with an embedded SIM.

In addition to the upgrade of the in-vehicle technology experience, the new Baleno is not so much a brand new model as it is an update. It does bring some visual upgrades, however, but the theme surrounding the new car is that “technology gets bold,” as witnessed in the trailers so far.
