San Francisco: Instagram, the photo-sharing website owned by Meta, has announced that it has added Reels to a number of its endpoints. The platform stated that it wants to enhance both the publishing and consumption of content, whether users access Instagram directly or through a third party.
The business said in a blog post for developers: “We are happy to offer Reels to a lot of the endpoints that you may already be acquainted with. We have heard from our developer community time and time again that Reels is a major priority.”
The statement said, “We will broaden the scope of support for reels to include Content Publishing, Insights, Comment Moderation, Hashtag Search, Business Discovery, Mentions, Promote API, and Instagram Basic Display API.
Both the current version of the Graph API and all earlier versions will support this API improvement. Developers who already have access to the relevant APIs will instantly have access to Reels. If their app has previously received approval for the necessary permission access levels, they won’t need to submit it for extra App Review.
