The first trailer for Huma Qureshi’s Mithya has been released. Mithya will be released on ZEE5 on February 18, directed by Rohan Sippy. Set in Darjeeling, the story traces the conflicting relationship between a Hindi literature professor (Huma) and her student (Avantika Dassani). Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Rajit Kapur and Samir Soni also play key roles in the web series. Bhagyashree’s daughter Avantika makes her debut in the six-part show.
Huma shared the trailer on her Instagram page. The trailer begins with Huma announcing the subject of a class assignment. Soon, she accused a student of plagiarism. In a swift turn of events, the trailer shows how Huma and her students handle more.
Speaking of the show, Huma told the Hindustan Times, “The challenge was not to play the role of a typical Hindi professor like the one shown in Hindi movies. I mentioned one of my Hindi professors at school. language teacher, he is very restrained”
Speaking about the show, Rohan Sippy said in a statement: “Mithya is a tense and dramatic thriller set in a university in search of knowledge and truth, but each character deceives each other and us. , and ultimately deceived themselves.”
