MIUI 13 comes with a new MiSans font that is part of Dynamic Font System 2.0. Similar to iOS 14, it also supports dynamic widgets, a feature the company has been testing since August 2021.

It brings Liquid Storage, which reduces fragmentation and proactively manages stored data while increasing defragmentation efficiency by up to 60%. There is also Atomized Memory for RAM efficiency. It also features centralized algorithms that dynamically allocate system resources based on usage scenarios, helping to make the interface fluid and responsive. It also prioritizes active applications, allowing the CPU to focus on important tasks.

There’s also a Smart Balance feature that automatically finds a balance between performance and power consumption. It also claims to extend battery life by up to 10%. Xiaomi is also focusing more on privacy with MIUI 13.
