Moto G31 to Go on Sale for the First Time in India Today: Price, Specifications

Moto G31 is on sale via Flipkart at 12 noon today. The affordable G-series devices were launched in the country on November 29. It is sold in two configurations, and the basic model is priced at Rs 12,999. Users can buy smart phones in light blue and meteorite gray.

Moto G31 looks the same as any G series device. It has a rectangular camera module with LED flash. Except for the Motorola logo, the rest of the rear panel is ordinary. On the front, it has a centered hole-punch camera for selfies. This smartphone has a side fingerprint scanner for identity verification. The basic Moto G31 model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at 12,999.

The high-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at 14,999. Moto G31 is equipped with a 6.4-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The display has a brightness of up to 700 nits and a pixel density of 409 PPI. The Helio G85 chipset powers the Moto G31. It is an octa-core chipset clocked at 2GHz and equipped with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Moto offers two configurations for this device-one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space, and the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage space.

Moto G31 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-pixel main camera, an 8-pixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-pixel macro lens. There is a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front. Motorola G31 is powered by a 5000mAh battery and supports 20W charging.

It brings 4G LTE, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port and other connection options. Moto G31 runs Android 11 out of the box. The company said that Moto G31 will receive Android 12 operating system and two years of security updates.
