Motorola has launched its flagship phone, the Edge 30 Pro, which starts at Rs 49,999. The phone is powered by a high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and features a 60MP selfie camera as well as dual 50MP cameras on the back. Motorola Edge 30 Pro: India price, sale deals
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro is priced at Rs 49,999. The phone will go on sale on Flipkart starting March 4 at 12pm. The company is also offering a flat discount of Rs 5,000 for SBI credit card users, which is available on Flipkart. At retail outlets, Motorola is offering Rs 5,000 cashback to SBI credit cardholders. The effective price for SBI credit card holders is Rs 44,999. Motorola Edge 30 Pro customers will also get benefits worth Rs 10,000 from Reliance Jio.
Motorola Edge 30 Pro: Specs
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro features a 6.7-inch 10-bit OLED display with HDR10+ certification. The phone features “Premium 3D Satin Frosted Glass” with shimmering accents of color. Even the fingerprint reader is curved to match the edges of the device, according to Motorola. The phone has an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone also gets a 144Hz refresh rate, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is also 5G-ready, and Motorola says the device will support 13 5G bands, meaning coverage will be extensive once the technology rolls out in India and becomes more widely available in other countries.
As for the cameras, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro has a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP OIS + 50MP ultra-wide-angle rear camera. The third camera is a macro camera. The rear camera can also record 8K video in HDR10+ format. The front camera is 60 MP, another first.
The phone has Dolby Atmos certification for stereo speakers. The phone features a 4800mAh battery with 68W TurboPower fast charging that can provide over 50% battery life in just 15 minutes.
The Motorola Edge 30 Pro runs Android 12, the stock version that comes standard with the company’s phones. Motorola also said the phone will get Android 13 and 14 security upgrades through 3 years of security updates.
