Mukul Arya, the ambassador of India to the State of Palestine, has died after a brief illness. He was born and educated in India, studied Economics at Delhi University and JNU, and joined the Foreign Service in 2008. In his mid-30s, he had served at the Ministry of External Affairs in Delhi, and at the Embassies of India in Kabul and Moscow.
