Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda shared an elegant photo of herself in a sari on her Instagram on Saturday, sparking admiration from fans, with some even asking if he could send her his “rishta”.
On Saturday morning, Navya shared two photos of herself on Instagram, wearing a peach-colored sari and jewelry, and even flaunting her gray hair. “Foot. My white hair,” she captioned the post. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar was among those who admired Navya’s photo as she commented on a heart emoji. Navya’s uncle, actor Abhishek Bachchan, gave her a hug via emoji.
Fans’ praise was more lengthy, with one brazen asking: “Okay, but where can I send rishta?” Another added: “All the beauty and glamour of the world is on one side, and you’re on the other. Saree.” Other fans called Navya ‘radiant and regal’ in the photo. In one of the photos, Navya can be seen with strands of grey hair as she leaves the camera. “White hair resembles grey matter,” wrote one fan, while another wrote: “Why so pretty?”
Navya is the daughter of Shweta Bachchan Nanda and granddaughter of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan. Apart from her grandparents and uncle Abhishek Bachchan, Navya said she has no plans to enter the film industry.
In an interview with Vogue last year, Navya said: “I will be the fourth generation to lead this family – and the first woman. I am very proud to carry on this incredible legacy. My great-grandfather, HP Nanda, wrote.” Navya is a graduate of Fordham University and is currently in India with her family. She often shares glimpses of her life on social media.
