29,429 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in India in the last 24 hours, which is the highest number of cases reported in a day so far. With this, the number of infection cases increased to 9,36,181 by Wednesday morning of which 5,92,032 people have been cured/discharged/migrated while 3,19,840 are active cases. At the same time, the death toll from Covid-19 has increased to 24,309.
Out of total cases of Covid-19 infection in India, 5,71,460 patients have been cured out of which Maharashtra has the highest number of 1,44,507 patients. 92567 in Tamil Nadu, 91312 in Delhi, and 29,770 patients in Gujarat have been cured. At the same time, the number of patients recovering is 24203 in Uttar Pradesh, 23679 in Telangana and 19213 in West Bengal.
