The Supreme Court on Monday (October 12) allowed National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) to be conducted on October 14 for students who failed to appear for the exam due to COVID-19 infection or because of residing in containment zones. The results will be declared on October 16.
The Supreme Court of India has issued a directive in which it has stated that the candidates who could not appear for the NEET 2020 exam which was conducted on September 13, they can take the exam on October 14.
The SC has stated the exam is being conducted for those candidates who had either COVID 19 or their test centres fell in the containment zone. A mail regarding the same has been sent to the eligible candidates’ email ID. In wake of this change, the NEET Result 2020 which was supposed to be announced on October 12 will now be declared on October 16.
As per the NEET 2020 result declaration latest update, Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has tweeted the NEET 2020 result date which is now to be released on October 16 he further added that the exact timings will be intimated later.
