Netflix queues up a roguelike PC game to go with its action movie Kate

Collateral damage is not the first Netflix original game match we have seen, but now it is seriously entering the field, and each title feels a little different. Developed by Ludic Studios, this new game is a “time attack action roguelike” related to the movie “Kate”, which is a Netflix movie starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, about An assassin had 24 hours to find an antidote to the poison.

The plot of the movie makes the game’s time attack method easy to understand, because the player takes over the central character in her mission. As its Steam description shows, players kill enemies to slow down the constantly consuming timer, and get a doping injector that completely resets it to extend the length of each run.

The plot of this movie also works through your hostage transformed into companion Ani and its dirty neon atmosphere. Unlike earlier Ludic Studios games, Akane, Kate: Collateral Damage tends to be in 3⁄4 view, but comparing their trailers can see why Brazilian developers match the content.
The collateral damage is scheduled to be released via Steam on October 22. No pricing is listed, but it looks like this game is not tied to your subscription as Netflix tested on Android. On the contrary, like the recent appearance of Eden Unearthed App Lab on Oculus VR, there is a feeling of a marketing partner that can help Kate stand out in a series of action movies similar to John Wick of recently appeared heroines. Maybe we will Learn more at the Tudum fan event hosted this weekend.
