The hanging date of the four convicts of the Nirbhaya rape case is nearing. A Delhi court issued a new death warrant and announced the execution on the morning of March 3. However, even before this, death warrants were issued but the execution was delayed. Looking at the date of March 3, the Tihar administration has started its preparations, in the past, there was also talk of mixing the culprits with the family. In December 2012, Nirbhaya was gang-raped and then murdered on a Delhi street. In this case, the death sentence of four convicts was announced.

But the path of law is being taken repeatedly by the four convicts Pawan, Akshay, Vinay, and Mukesh. Sometimes the President has to file a separate mercy petition or file a separate review petition in the court. The legal maneuvers of the convicts are protecting them from the trap of repeated executions, while separate petitions are being filed by the convicts to avoid hanging. Meanwhile, a petition was filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Union Home Ministry and sought permission to hang the culprits separately.

Now the bench of three judges will hear the matter on March 5. This bench was headed by Justice R.C. Will do it wrongly. Apart from Justice Bhanumati, Justice Ashok Bhushan and Justice Naveen Sinha are members of this bench. The Delhi High Court was first approached by the government, but the court rejected this petition. The Delhi High Court had clearly stated in its statement that all four can be punished simultaneously. In this case, the question arises that if the date of hanging is March 3 and the Supreme Court is to be heard on March 5, then the culprits How will the punishment be Will the government appeal for a hearing soon, because, after Friday, Saturday-Sunday will be a court holiday. And Tuesday is March 3.
