Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana reprimanded the convict’s lawyer AP Singh for delaying the curative and mercy plea while preserving the verdict on the new petition banning the death warrant of Nirbhaya gang-rape convict Pawan Gupta. Rana said, “You are playing with fire … Go, Chet … Someone took the wrong step, you know the result.”
