The Noida authorities said on Wednesday that in accordance with instructions issued by the Supreme Court, it will invite an agency to demolish the twin towers of the Emerald Court of the Supertech Project in District 93 along the Noida Highway.

According to officials from the Noida authorities, private agencies may be hired within a month to start the demolition process by November. After a Special Investigation Team (SIT) established by the Uttar Pradesh government to investigate violations, the Noida authorities have filed an FIR investigation against 26 officials and four Supertech directors and found that they were suspected of participating in the approval of the map and the construction plan for the twin towers.

Now that the authorities have begun hiring the agency, the agency will negotiate with Roorkee’s Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) to undertake the demolition process.
