Nokia T20 tablet launched; price to specs, check it out

Nokia mobile brand licensor HMD Global has launched a new tablet named “Nokia T20”, which will use products such as Xiaomi Mi Pad, Samsung Galaxy Tab and Realme Pad. There are two variants of Android tablets-Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G, but only one deep sea blue finish. The rear camera and LED flash are located in a pill-shaped module with a black finish.

The launch of the Nokia T20 coincides with the launch of new tablets by different brands to reduce the burden of working at home. In terms of specifications, the Nokia T20 uses a 10.4-inch 2K (2,000×1,200 pixel) embedded display with a peak brightness of 400 nits and “tempered glass” protection. The screen has a fairly large frame, mainly to avoid accidental touches. Customers can choose between 32GB and 64GB storage options; however, the onboard memory can be expanded to 512GB via a microSD card).

Nokia T20 runs on Android 11 out of the box, and the company promises to provide two years of software updates and three years of security updates. The tablet is equipped with face unlock to ensure safety. In terms of optics, the Nokia T20 is equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front and an 8-megapixel camera sensor on the back. The rear camera setup is also paired with an LED flash. Nokia said that the dual-speaker OZO Playback can provide an immersive listening experience “anytime, anywhere”.

Other notable features include 4G LTE (optional), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C and 3.5 mm headphone jack. There is also an 8,200mAh battery that supports fast charging via a 15W compatible charger (there is a 10W charger in the box).

The Nokia T20 tablet comes pre-installed with Google Kids Space, which is designed for children and can be used with your kids. Your child’s Google account. Google kids’ accounts can be managed through Family Link parental controls.

The Nokia T20 Wi-Fi-only version starts at 199 Euros (approximately 17,200 rupees), and the LTE + Wi-Fi version starts at 239 Euros (approximately 20,600 rupees). Pre-orders are currently available in the UK, and the company has not yet shared details of its global availability.
