Colossal damages have been reported from the US due to the raging California wildfires: The American West Coast is on fire. While the US West Coast battles colossal blazes in California, thousands of people have been displaced and in the last 24 hours alone, three people have died trying to escape the blazes. That takes the death toll in the current wildfires to 11 since last month.

The US state of California is in the middle of a 20-year mega-drought and is experiencing more than 25 wildfires, three of which make it to the 5 of the worst-ever California wildfire blazes list. This one month of wildfire has taken down 2.3 million acres of green cover already.

About 14,000 firefighters are battling these 28 major blazes across California as it battles a historic heatwave.
