Oil spill makes sand in Mumbai’s Juhu beach turn black

For about 5 to 8 kilometers on the Juhu beach of Mumbai, the oil in the water has come to the shore by flowing water. Due to which the sand of about 3 km of the beach has turned black.

The cause of the oil spill is not yet clear, people who came for morning walk on Thursday morning saw a black outline on the sea shore several kilometers away.

After which some people have called and informed the local police station and BMC. At present, BMC employees are on the beach to investigate the oil spill and have started cleaning work.

There was also oil spill in 2016, Juhu Beach is a favorite destination of tourists, now this beach has become polluted.

It may take several days to clean it completely. Earlier in the year 2016, oil was seen flowing on the sea shore in a similar way.
