On Constitution Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi commemorated the first Indian President Rajendra Prasad and the Chairman of the Constitution Drafting Committee Dr. BR Ambedkar on Friday, stressing the importance of the document outlining the rights and obligations of the government and people sex.
“I extend my best wishes to our citizens on Constitution Day. On this special day, I shared a part of Dr. Ambedkar’s speech at the Constituent Assembly on November 4, 1948, in which he moved to resolve it through the Drafting Committee. Draft constitution,” Prime Minister Modi said in a tweet.
“No matter how beautiful, well-organized, and powerful a constitution is, if it is not managed by a true, fearless, and selfless public servant, the constitution is powerless. Dr. Rajendra Prasad’s sentiment is like a guide.” He also uses Indy Tweet. Every year, November 26th is Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India by the Constituent Assembly on this day in 1949. It was on January 26, 1950. Constitution Day was first celebrated in 2015 to commemorate BR Ambedkar, India’s first Minister of Law.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), as part of the Constitution Day celebrations, President Ram Nath Kovind will preside over a plan in Parliament in which Prime Minister Modi will participate. Modi will speak in Parliament starting at 11 am. The Prime Minister will also unveil the two-day celebration of Constitution Day organized by the Supreme Court at 5:30 pm and deliver a speech at the honorable gathering.
President Kovind will release a digital version of the debates in the Constituent Assembly, a digital version of the calligraphic copy of the Indian Constitution, and an updated version of the document, which will include all amendments to date.
Federal Minister Prahad Joshi announced on Tuesday that Vice President Vinkaya Naidu, Speaker of the People’s Chamber Om Birla and many other dignitaries will also participate in the plan. The Minister of Parliamentary Affairs said that the event was organized by the Secretariat of the People’s Chamber and the Speaker.
