According to the news agency ANI, opposition lawmakers from Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha will march in Delhi on Tuesday to protest the suspension of 12 members of the upper house.
They will parade from Gandhi statue to Vijay Chowk at 12:45 pm.
People familiar with the matter said that the opposition party will hold demonstrations on four issues, including rising inflation, farmers’ income, mandatory legislation and the suspension of members of Congress.

They met in the office of the opposition leader in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge to discuss a strategy for the withdrawal of the suspension requirement for 12 members. “Chairman Rajya Sabha has the right to suspend any rule, issue instructions or revoke it, but the government does not allow him to do so. I request the chairman to use his power to bring these 12 suspended MPs back to the House of Representatives,” Kharge told ANI before. The suspended members include six members from Congress, two each from Trinamool Congress and Shiv Sena, and one each from CPI and CPM: Phulo Devi Netam, Chhaya Verma, Ripun Bora, Rajamani Patel, Syed Nasir Hussain and Member of Parliament Akhilesh Prasad Singh; Dola Sen and Shanta Chhetri of Trinamool Conference; Priyanka Chaturvedi, Anil Desai of Shiv Sena; Elamaram Kareem of CPM; and Binoy Viswam of CPI. At the end of the monsoon meeting in August, members of Congress were suspended for alleged unruly behavior. At that time, opposition members rushed into the House of Representatives during the passage of the General Insurance Business (Nationalization) Amendment and summoned the marshal, 2021.
Since the first day of the ongoing Winter Conference, the House of Lords has been adjourned continuously due to the suspension of 12 members.
