As the Delhi government plans to reduce its value-added tax, gasoline prices in the capital may fall. The Delhi cabinet, led by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will consider the proposal at a meeting on Wednesday.
Senior officials said that the Delhi government may approve the reduction of gasoline value-added tax at a cabinet meeting.
The gasoline price in Delhi is 103.97 rupees per liter, Noida is 95.51 rupees per liter, and Gulgram is 95.90 rupees per liter.
As a result, Delhi’s customers continue to lose to gas stations in satellite cities in neighboring states.
