The Philippines has signed a $374 million contract with BrahMos Aerospace to supply the country’s navy with shore-based anti-ship missiles, military sources said.
BrahMos, a supersonic cruise missile produced by the Indian-Russian joint venture BrahMos Aerospace, can be launched from submarines, ships, aircraft or land platforms.
The company had proposed to the Philippine government to supply shore-based anti-ship missiles to the navy, the sources said.
