The producers of Radhe Shyam starring Prabhas and Pooja Hegde have finally set a release date for the romantic drama. Radha Krishna Kumar’s directorial work will hit theaters on March 11. Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, star Prabhas wrote: “3/11/22. I’ll see you. #RadheShyamOnMarch11.”
The producer also released a new poster for the film, with the caption “witness the greatest war between love and destiny”. Fans have been waiting for the film’s release for some time now, but luckily, the ongoing pandemic has made it a bit difficult during these uncertain times.
About a month ago, director Radha Krishna Kumar wrote a note about the fate of the film. “Times are tough, hearts are weak, minds are messed up. No matter what life throws at us – our hopes are always high. Stay safe, stay high – #radheshyam team”, the filmmaker wrote. Fans were disappointed by the film’s delay.
Radhe Shyam was originally slated for a January 14 release in Sankranti, but that didn’t happen. Hope the COVID-19 situation across the country gets better soon and fans can enjoy the movie in theaters. Many manufacturers are turning to OTT platforms to keep their project time relevant.
Touted as a science fiction novel, Radhe Shyam is set in 1970s Europe. Apart from the lead roles, the film also features Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Sachin Khedekar and Priyadarshi in key roles. This highly anticipated project is produced by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies and T-Series.
