Preity Zinta shared a glimpse of her birthday party on Instagram, adding that she spends most of her time doing mum duties. Preity and her husband Gene Goodenough welcomed twins through surrogacy last year.
Preity shared a series of photos from the celebration, which included Gene, her brother Manish Zinta, her mum Nilprabha Zinta and a few others.preity being treated to a piece of cake of yellow coordinating joggers set for the celebration. The first photo in the carousel shows Preity being treated as a piece of cake by Gene – in the remaining entries, she takes selfies with family and friends.
Thanking fans for showering her with a whole lot of love on her birthday, Preity wrote: “A big thank you to all of you for the birthday wishes and for all your love. This birthday was like no other. We stayed home and I spent most of the day cleaning and sterilising milk bottles for the kids, then feeding, burping and changing nappies.”
She added: “I can’t believe I’m saying that, but I don’t have time to put on nice clothes and put on makeup. Still, this birthday is special because my kids have been with me and it’s just a family affair. .”
In the comments section, Preity received birthday wishes from the likes of Sussanne Khan, Manisha Koirala and Dia Mirza. Preity’s friend Rikoo Shama, who was part of the party, shared more glimpses of the cake-cutting session.
In November, Preity revealed that she and Gene had become parents to twins Jai and Gia. She wrote in the post: “Hi everyone, today I want to share our amazing news with you all. Gene and I are so delighted and our hearts are filled with gratitude and love as we welcome our twin Jai Zinta. Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough joins our family.”
