President Dismisses Mercy Plea Of Pawan Gupta, Convicted Of Nirbhaya Gang Rape Case

The mercy petition of Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case Pawan Gupta was rejected by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday. The curative petition demanding Pawan’s execution to be sentenced to life imprisonment was rejected by the Supreme Court on Monday after which he sent his mercy petition to the President.
