A statement from Rashtrapati Bhavan stated that President Ram Nath Kovind will launch a housing project on Friday for the socioeconomically weaker part (EWS) in the Bhavnagar district of Gujarat.
The statement added that President Kovind will also visit Shree Chitrakutdham, the Morali Bab Monastery in Talgaharda, Bhavnagar District, the state. President Kovind will arrive in the city of Bhavnagar and then head to Talgajarda, the hometown of the religious preacher Morari Bapu.
According to the news agency PTI, the Gujarat government stated in a press release that he will also visit Chitrakutdham, a spiritual practice site in Moraribap near Mahwa town in Bhavnagar district. In the evening, President Kovind will return to the city of Bhavnagar, where he will participate in a public event to hand over to it more than 1,088 houses built under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the weaker part of the economy. As part of a three-day visit to Gujarat, the president arrived in Gujarat on Thursday.
After Kovind arrived in the state in the afternoon, he interacted with other judges of the Gujarat High Court Aravind Kumar and Gandhinagar Raj Bhavan during the afternoon tea in the evening. Raj Bhavan announced that Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Federal Minister of Law and Justice Kiren Rijiju also attended the etiquette meeting.
