Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Chief Ministers of all states today to discuss the situation of the ongoing Corona epidemic in India. The new wave of coronavirus will be discussed in this meeting to be held through video conferencing. Apart from this, a vaccination campaign will also be talked about. According to sources, West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee will not attend this meeting. He will be replaced by Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay in a meeting with PM Modi.

PM Modi’s last discussion with the Chief Ministers was held on 17 March on the issue of the epidemic. The Prime Minister had expressed serious concern over the increasing cases in some states and asked for quick and decisive steps to stop the second wave. Earlier, PM Modi had also suggested a five-point formula in a high-level meeting held with senior officials, which called for an investigation, identification of people exposed to infected, treatment, strict adherence to corona rules, and vaccination.
