Another cheating and forgery case has been registered in the Cordeila cruise drug case against Kiran Gosavi, an independent witness from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), in which several people including the son of actor Shahrukh Khan were arrested earlier this month.
In the most recent case, the number of complaints against Gosavi’s FIR reached 4 was registered three years ago. However, FIR is only submitted on Sundays. After the photos of Gosavi and Khan’s son Aryan went viral on social media, they appeared for the first time after being suspected of drug trafficking. At the time, many people thought he was an NCB official. The bureau later clarified that he was not involved.
At the same time, the National Congress Party (NCP) held a press conference claiming that Gosavi had criminal convictions. NCB officials later clarified that Gosavi, the private investigator and owner of the settlement agency, was one of the 10 independent witnesses in the Cordelia case. According to the complaint of two young people, the latest FIR against Gosavi has been registered by the Kelwa police in Palghar on charges of fraud, forgery and criminal breach of trust. According to the police, Utkarsh Tare and Adarsh Keni, the victims of this case, had contact with Gosavi in 2018.
They allegedly defrauded him of 165,000 rupees on the pretext of finding a job in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. According to the complaint, Gosavi allegedly handed over fake tourist visas and air tickets to the two after collecting money from them. When the victims went to the airport to board the plane, after checking their documents and tickets, they were turned away by a CISF officer. Later, Tare and Keni filed a complaint with the Kelwa police.
However, even after three years, the police did not take any action or criminal offences against Gosavi.
