American comedian Rocio Donnell has apologised to Indian actress Priyanka Chopra after an awkward meeting with her in Malibu. Rosie shared two videos on Instagram and TikTok in which she revealed what happened when she met Priyanka and her singer husband Nick Jonas on Sunday.

In the first video, filmed in her car, Rosie said she, her son and his girlfriend saw Nick and Priyanka on a date. “Next to us is Nick Jonas and his wife ‘someone’ Chopra, who I always thought was Deepak Chopra’s daughter,” she said in the video. Deepak Chopra is a popular American author.

When speaking with Priyanka, she said she knew her father. “She said, ‘Would you like? Who’s my dad?’ I was like ‘Deepak’. She was like ‘No. And Chopra is a common name. I’m embarrassed,’” Rosie said in the video. Ask her if she’s the only one who has always thought Priyanka was Deepak’s daughter.

Rosie’s fans thought she was very embarrassed by what happened and told her not to worry. “That’s awesome! I’ll be shrinking to the floor, but it’s fun,” wrote one fan. Many agreed that they too thought Priyanka was Deepak’s daughter. Priyanka is actually the daughter of the late Dr. Ashok Chopra and Dr. Madhu Chopra.

After the first video garnered some attention, Rosie posted another video, this time using Priyanka’s real name. “People thought she was rude. She wasn’t rude, she was just embarrassed. I’m sure she must be sick. I’m sure I’m not the only one,” she said in the video.
