The Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has sent a notification to news organization Press Trust of India, requesting that it pay more than Rs 84 crore as a punishment for supposed breaks at its office in New Delhi, revealed IANS. The notification was sent by the Land and Development Office, which goes under the service, on July 7 yet prepared for action on Monday.
The notification includes that the news organization must give an undertaking on non-legal stamp paper expressing that it will pay the distinction of “abuse/harm charges” if the land rates are modified with review impact from April 1, 2016, and will likewise evacuate the “breaches” by July 14 this year, or get them regularized by paying charges. The Land and Development Office included that if the sum isn’t paid in the specified timespan, an extra 10% intrigue might be exacted.
