Punjab polls: AAP names 3 more candidates, all eyes now on Mann’s candidature

According to the eighth candidate list released by Bhagwant Mann, head of AAP state units and Jarnail Singh, head of Punjab affairs, Raman Arora is from Jalandhar Central, Fauza Singh Sarari is from Guru Harsahai, and Deep Kamboj is from Abohar.

With this, AAP has nominated candidates for 104 of the state’s 117 parliamentary seats, thereby quelling speculation about the polling alliance with Sanyukt Samaj Morcha, a political organization organized by one of the 32 farmers’ unions launched this year. 22 proposed-long-term struggles with three controversial agricultural laws promulgated by the center.

All eyes are now on the announcement about Mann’s candidate. Mann is a two-term Sangrul member and he is likely to be appointed as the party’s chief minister. Mann is likely to be subordinated to the Dhuri parliamentary seat of his parliament to play in the constituency.
