Seeing the importance of technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that in India we have experienced that technology improves transparency and supply of services. At the Rise 2020 conference, the Prime Minister said that the goal of making India a world-level center in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the optic fiber network is being expanded to connect all villages.
PM Modi asked, can Artificial Intelligence be used for better management of assets and resources? He said that we should protect the world from the armament of artificial talent by elements / organizations operating in a different way from the state.
The Prime Minister said that Artificial Intelligence has a big role in agriculture, building next generation urban infrastructure and strengthening disaster management systems.
Addressing the entire world, Modi said that today the power house of the IT industry is India. Many veteran IT leaders in the world are related to India. We will continue to promote digital and continue to play our role in the world. In his address, he said that if you discuss the success of digital, you can look at Aadhaar and payment system UPI.
The Prime Minister said that India has recently adopted the National Education Policy 2020, which specifically focuses on technology-based education and skill development. He said that e-syllabus will be developed in various regional languages and dialects.
He said that a National Education Technical Forum is being formed to create an e-education unit to promote digital infrastructure, digital content and capacity. The government launched the ‘Responsible AI for Youth’ program in April this year. More than 11,000 students have completed the basic syllabus under this program. They are now preparing their AI project.
