Nine people died from the coronavirus in Rajasthan on Tuesday, with 9,711 new cases, according to a health department bulletin.
The highest number of cases reported is 2,358 in Jaipur, 801 in Jodhpur, 677 in Udaipur, 569 in Pali, 568 in Alwar, 563 in Kota, 536 in Bharatpur, and Hanumangarh 426 cases, 380 in Chitogal and 358 in Bikaner.
Nine people have died from the infection, including two each in Jaipur and Jodhpur, and one each in Alwar, Ajmer, Bikaner, Dausa and Kalali, according to the department.
A total of 9,019 people have died from the deadly infection in the state so far.
According to the data, 7,056 people in the state recovered from the infection on Tuesday. Currently, 69,388 people are being treated in the state.
As of Monday night, 8,90,91,416 people in the state have been vaccinated against the coronavirus. Of these, 26,06,024 were in the 15 to 18 age group.
