South films superstar Rajinikanth (Rajinikanth) will receive the ‘Dadasaheb Phalke Award’ (51st Dadasaheb Phalke Award) in the film world. Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar (Prakash Javadekar) has informed this on Thursday. The 51st Dada Saheb Phalke Award will be given to 71-year-old Rajinikanth on 3 May.
Dada Saheb Phalke awards have been announced this year due to Coronavirus infection. Last week, the National Awards were also announced. Dada Saheb Phalke is a prestigious honor in the world of Indian cinema.
In a tweet in this regard, Javadekar said – ‘I am very happy to announce the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2019 for one of the greatest actors in the history of Indian cinema. His (Rajinikanth) contribution as an actor, producer, and screenwriter has been distinguished. I thank Jury Asha Bhosle, Subhash Ghai, Mohanlal, Shankar, and Biswas Chatterjee.
