Rajnath Singh to inaugurate model of anti-satellite missile system at DRDO headquarters, Delhi

NEW DELHI: Defense serve Rajnath Singh will initiate a model of the counter satellite rocket framework, which is viewed as an image of public innovative headway, at the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) base camp in the public capital today.

Prior, DRDO had effectively directed an Anti-Satellite (A-SAT) rocket test ‘Mission Shakti’ from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha on March 27, 2019.

A DRDO-built up A-SAT Missile effectively drew in an Indian circling objective satellite in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in a ‘Hit to Kill’ mode. The interceptor rocket was a three-stage rocket with two strong rocket sponsors.

Prior to the initiation, the Defense Minister alongside Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari saw the exhibit of Fire Detection and Suppression System (FDSS), which has been created by DRDO for traveler transports.
