IRCTC stated that this train will be equipped with air-conditioned carriages and sleeper carriages. The cost of the complete package is 14,490 rupees, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation, transportation and guide. Interested passengers can book train tickets on www.irctctourism.com.

“The launch of this train is aimed at promoting pilgrimage tourism, covering pilgrimage sites in 7 days and 8 nights. It will run on sleeper and AC-3 floors,” said Renu Sharma, Railway Manager (DRM) of the Pune Division, with ANI Said while talking.

Indian Railways also announced a new special train section dedicated to the tourism industry and a group of approximately 190 themed trains named Bharat Gaurav. The fares of these trains will be determined by the travel agency, but the railway will ensure that the prices are not abnormal.

As Covid-19 cases have fallen sharply in the country, Indian Railways has also recently resumed catering services to provide hot meals during train travel. The announcement was made a few days after the Federal Ministry of Civil Aviation announced the resumption of meals for domestic flights.
