Priya Sharma, who is also a lyricist, has reportedly sent a legal notice to the actor and demanded compensation worth Rs 10 crore. Along with that, she has also sought a public apology from him as per reports.
Priya is reportedly claiming that the actor and some of his colleagues assured her of collaboration and took scripts and songs written by her in the last 15 years. She says that they kept delaying the work and now instead of returning the script they are threatening her.
According to some reports, the legal notice has been sent to Randeep Hooda, his mother Asha Hooda, Mandeep Hooda, Dr Anjali Hooda Sangwan, Manish (Dr Anjali’s business partner), Panchali Chakrabarty (Randeep’s manager) and Renuka Pillai (makeup artist).
Priya has reportedly sent this legal notice through her lawyer Rajat Kalsan. It is being said that Priya came in contact with the actor in 2012 through Facebook after which they became friends, to the extent of discussing family-related issues. During conversations, Priya had apparently told Randeep’s mother that she has written many scripts keeping Randeep in mind and wants to share them with him to make a film. Randeep’s mother told her that she is a part of the house hence she can send her scripts to Panchali and Renuka since their production house will come up soon.
